



Cate AndrEWS
Cate Andrews is a dance teacher and performer, currently based in Orange County, California. She is currently pursuing a double major in Dance and Business at Chapman University, where she also serves as the Co-Vice President of Team Shaka, Chapman’s student-led hip-hop team. Cate has been dedicated to teaching and sharing her love for dance through various roles, including the creator and lead instructor of the “Hip Hop Camp with Cate” Youth Summer Camp. As well as an instructor in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical classes at Broadway Lights Dance in Gulf Breeze, FL, Alfonso Academy in Destin, FL and Momentum Dance Center in Yorba Linda, CA. Cate’s dance training includes Jazz, Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, and Ballet. Her development was further honed through programs like the APEX Pre-Professional Development under Candace Trasoras and convention assistant programs. In addition to teaching and performing, Cate has also ventured into choreography, creating competition pieces for studios and assisting well-known choreographers in hip-hop, lyrical, and jazz genres.
