Jesse Kohn

Jesse Kohn is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor from New Jersey that is currently studying Dance at Chapman University in Southern California. Jesse is also the creator of Journey Dance Connection which is a company that connects artists with other artists, artists with mentors, and artists with opportunities through multiple platforms such as classes, showcases, and seminars. As a dancer, Jesse has had the opportunity to work with multiple choreographers throughout his dance career including Monika Felice Smith, Will Johnston, Steven Sofia, Jamale Graves, and more. He has been fortunate to dance in an off-broadway production of Over the Rainbow, and other performance opportunities throughout his career. His teaching ideology is inspired by his experience as a dancer, and focuses on classes he wishes he had as a student. Throughout Jesse’s teaching career he has had the opportunity to teach across the country including California, North Dakota, Alaska, Pennsylvania, New York, and more.

Kate Constantini

Kate Constantini has been dancing for 15+ years, including multiple years of competition experience. Upon leaving the competition scene, Kate trained at a ballet conservatory for over a year in high school. After graduating highschool a semester early, she moved to New York City to train as a Joffrey Ballet School Jazz and Contemporary Trainee for a semester. She has participated in multiple intensives to further her growth, such as the Jacob Jonas The Company summer intensive at Orsolina28 in Moncalvo, Italy, Entity Contemporary Dance Intensive, Generation IV, Broadway Dance Center Intensive, and more. She is now a third year BFA in Dance Performance at Chapman University. Kate has worked with many professionals, such as Dwight Rhoden, Kurtis Sprung, Will Thomas, Tawny Andersson, Beth Crandall, Teddy Forance, Albert Cattafi, and more. Kate is all about passion, individuality, and drive. Exploring who you are as a dance artist is one of the many things Kate dives into as a dancer, and encourages and teaches others to tap into that artistic side of themselves.

Kamryn Funk

Kamryn Funk (she/her), originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, is pursuing her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Honors at Chapman University. Kamryn is a company member of AU.THENTICITY and was is Azuki Umeda’s recent presentation of “how I became Kinder &Kinder." Kamryn can be seen on NBC World of Dance and has recently performed at Reconstruct Exhibition, Carnival, and Club Jeté. At Chapman University, Kamryn is a member of Team Shaka and is on the executive board of the Chapman Dance Alliance. She is a faculty member at Pave School of The Arts and a traveling teacher and choreographer for Journey Dance Connection. Kamryn presented her choreography for the Journey Dance Awards in the spring of 2023 and the  “& when the heart opens” showcase in LA. This past summer, Kamryn had the opportunity to train at Orsolina 28 in Moncalvo, Italy, with Jacob Jonas The Company, and has since become an apprentice with the company. Kamryn is excited to continue her journey in dance, exploring new avenues for artistic expression, and pushing the boundaries of her creativity.

Charlotte Foldes

Charlotte Foldes grew up in Thousand Oaks, California where she trained and competed at Bobbie's School of Performing Arts for 16 years training and working under choreographers such as Mandy Korpinen, Elizabeth Petrin, and Scotty Nguyen. In the Fall of 2021, she began her collegiate studies at Chapman University and is currently studying towards a BFA in Dance Performance with Leadership Minor. She is a member of the Chapman Dance Team, The Stilettos, and Team Shaka where she serves as Vice President. This past summer she had the opportunity to train at Orsolina 28 in Moncalvo, Italy with Jacob Jonas The Company who is based in Los Angeles and is now a member of their company touring and doing projects with them. She has one more year of training at Chapman and hopes to pursue a commercial and concert dance career after her graduation.

DAvid Burn

David Burn is a 20-year-old artist from Fullerton California who is currently pursuing a Dance Major and Integrated Educational Studies Minor at Chapman University. He has had extensive training in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, in the past 11 years and has instructed and choreographed for studios and dance teams around Orange County, California. He has been a part of the Chapman University Dance Team for the past 2 years who recently won their 15th consecutive national championship. He has also recently taken his choreography to the Chapman stage in the “Works in Progress Concert” and hopes to continue showcasing his work.
